Terms and Conditions
1. Quotations & Orders
All quotations are subject to confirmation by DC JOINERY INNOVATIONS LTD ("the Company") and, unless otherwise stated, remain valid for 30 days.
Acceptance of a quotation or instruction for works constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Any changes to the agreed specification or scope of works may result in additional charges.
2. Payment
Payment is due in accordance with the payment terms stated on the quotation or invoice. The Customer shall not withhold payment of any undisputed amount due to the Company.
Where additional works or materials are requested outside the original quotation, these will be charged separately.
3. Retention of Title
Ownership of all goods and materials supplied by the Company shall remain with DC JOINERY INNOVATIONS LTD until payment has been received in full for those goods and any other sums due to the Company.
4. Defects & Workmanship
Any concerns regarding defective goods or workmanship should be notified to the Company in writing within 7 days of delivery or completion of the relevant works, together with reasonable details of the issue.
The Company will investigate any notified defect and, where it accepts responsibility, will provide an appropriate remedy.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any statutory rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
5. Late Payment – Business Customers
Where the Customer is a business or organisation and payment is not made by the agreed due date, the Company reserves the right to charge statutory interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, together with any applicable statutory compensation and reasonable recovery costs.
The Company also reserves the right to suspend further works, services or deliveries until all overdue amounts have been paid.
6. Cancellation
Once an order has been accepted or works have commenced, cancellation by the Customer may result in charges for work completed, materials purchased, labour, design, preparation and other reasonable costs incurred by the Company.
7. Access & Site Conditions
The Customer must provide reasonable access to the premises for the Company, its employees and contractors to carry out the agreed works.
The Customer must notify the Company of any known site restrictions, hazards or conditions that may affect the works.
8. Variations & Additional Works
Any work requested outside the original quotation or agreed specification will be treated as additional work and may incur additional charges.
Where reasonably practicable, the Company will confirm any additional costs with the Customer before carrying out the work.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to this, the Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of opportunity, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and any contract between the Company and the Customer shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory statutory rights applicable to the Customer.
These Terms & Conditions should be read in conjunction with the quotation provided by DC JOINERY INNOVATIONS LTD.
